As part of our mission to address inequity, we focus on our future: kids! Through this interactive workshop, children design their own “bandages” using a variety of materials while learning that different injuries and different people may require different types of care.
By making empathy hands-on, creative, and fun, we help children understand the importance of recognizing and responding to the unique needs of others.

A hands-on health workshop where kids discover that no two bodies are exactly alike! Through fun, interactive activities, children will learn how our bodies communicate, how the same symptoms can feel different from person to person, and how our unique bodies respond to changes in different ways.
By exploring mystery symptoms, measuring their heart rates, and creating life-size body outlines, kids will discover what makes each body unique, strong, and healthy. Making health education fun, inclusive, and easy to understand while teaching kids that everyone deserves care that fits their individual needs.
